Only the Soul Sees Perfection

Our world can quietly transform from the inside out (July 2026).

What’s wrong with the world! they cry,

I say, depends who’s looking,

Instead ask: what has dulled our gaze

To bury truth beneath the lies,

To miss the fear in mortal eyes

That hunts for love until it dies,

Looking in all the wrong places,

Even friends turn into vacant faces

One day, when mind becomes memory,

Nothing will stay the same. Change,

The old stranger we like to blame,

Robs us clean of name and fame,

Emptied pockets, filled with shame,

Hearts too tired for yet more games,

What good’s a gift that doesn’t stand

The test of time, like hourglass sand

Slipping beyond our clasping hands

The hurt, the anger, the grief is fair

For those who brave their karmic share,

But dearest soul, do not despair,

Open those eyes, tired as they be,

Awaken to love as your nature; then see,

All that’s without is within, ever free

And your world is perfection — a divine mystery.
